WHAT IS MOVIEHOUSE?
Did you know you can see multiple movies for less than the cost of one movie ticket at a commercial cinema? Join up as a Moviehouse member for an annual cost of only $20 and enjoy classic film and a cuppa among fellow film buffs once a week from February to December.
Join us for a cuppa at 10am, before the movie starts at 10.30am sharp, sorry due to safety reasons no late comers will be admitted.
FOR A ONE OFF ANNUAL COST OF $20, YOU CAN ENJOY CLASSIC FILMS ONCE A WEEK.
Sit back in our intimate black box theatre, relax and enjoy a cinematic journey of films drawn from many of the great classics. Relive the excitement, adventure and romance of a bygone era and enjoy the personal touch of being a member of a film society: enjoy a cuppa and a chat in the company of fellow film buffs and have films introduced by our staff and volunteers with summary and trivia details.
Please note: Single ticket purchase for single sessions are not available - you must purchase a Membership, which offers excellent value at one payment of $20
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?
Purchase your Membership by either:
. Ringing our friendly staff in the Box Office: Telephone 9556 4440 (Monday - Friday 9am -4.30) or
. In person prior to any session of the movies (please allow enough time prior to the 10.30am start time)
We have eight spaces in the Theatre dedicated to patrons using a wheelchair. Please inform our Box Office staff of your requirements when applying for your membership.
HOW DO I GET THERE?
Limited parking is available under the Kingston City Hall. The area is well-served by public transport. The 824 and 825 routes stop directly outside Moorabbin railway station on the Nepean Hwy side. The 811 and 812 routes stop along South Rd, just before Nepean Hwy, next to the Kingston Arts Centre. Moorabbin railway station is on the Frankston train line and the station is within easy walking-distance of the Centre, 100 metres away. There is a taxi rank directly outside Moorabbin station. The venue is access friendly, with wheelchair accessible toilets on the ground floor and a lift up to the Theatre on Level 1, equipped with a hearing loop.
