THE 2015 MAKERS MARKET IS HERE!
Now in its seventh year, Kingston’s popular Makers Market exhibits Melbourne’s best established and emerging artists, crafters, creatives and designers across 90 unique stalls on Saturday 5 December from 4-9pm at the Kingston Arts Centre and surrounds. The Made in Moorabbin Pop Up Shops between Kingston Arts Centre and the City Hall will also be open on the day.
Alongside handmade, one-of-a-kind wares just in time for Christmas, this year’s event will also feature: hawker style food, live performances by La Mauvaise Reputation and La Rumba, appearances by pirate bubble sword, a door prize, free art and craft workshops, and kids face painting. Follow us on facebook for market updates.

INTERACTIVE 3D SCULPTURE IN OUR COURTYARD!
Splash - 3D Sculpture
Located in the Kingston City Hall courtyard, Splash is a motion controlled, interactive work by XY01 Design that will encourage the user to playfully explore their creative side. It will allow them to paint strokes of 3D objects into a space by simply moving their hands which in turn form a virtual 3D sculpture. This sculpture will then be brought to life via a range of synthesized movements, waves of colour and layers of effects. By giving the user the space to explore their inner artist Splash hopes to encourage a sense of creativity and playfulness to the space.
