The Makers Festival Stallholder Application

Applications are now open for the 2018 Makers festival

Makers, Creators, Artists and Designers - we want you!  

Kingston Arts is currently seeking applications for The Makers Festival from stallholders who create original handmade products. This year's event will be bigger and braver than previous years, showcasing over 100 stalls, plus gourmet food vans, live music, roaming performers, gallery exhibitions, artists talks and demonstrations, silent disco fun with Guru Dudu, as well as creative workshops with Trash Puppets and Baluk Arts.  

Stallholders at the 2017 Makers Market

Applicants are assessed by the curatorial committee on the following six selection criteria:

  • Products are of a handmade nature or independently designed by the stallholder

  • Original, creative and innovative products

  • Presentation and professionalism of finished products

  • Stallholder stock must have a consistent look and feel

  • Product diversity across the Market

Applications close: Monday 10 September at 5pm.

The City of Kingston produces a number of other annual community Festivals including Carols by Kingston, Globe to Globe World Music festival, Mordialloc Food, Wine & Music Festival and Carrum Beats & Eats event. If you would like to be considered as a stallholder for these events please select the tick box at the bottom of your application form.

Please note food trucks and performers are not eligible to submit a stallholder application. Food truck and performer’s participation is by invitation.
