Kingston Arts is proud to present Abstraction + Non-objective Painting: Class of 2018, featuring the works of Monash Art Design and Architecture students, led by artist and lecturer John Nixon.
The group exhibition explores themes and methods developed over 100 years of abstraction in art history. Including conceptual methods of paint as paint, colour, black +white, frame, shape, support, surface, painting as object and wall painting.
Abstraction + Non-objective Painting: Class of 2018 seeks to acknowledge the ongoing relationship between abstraction and contemporary art, while supporting the development of emerging artists in our community.
