'The Joy of Uniqueness' is a group exhibition featuring the works of local artists, all of whom are carers for loved ones with a disability. The paintings aim to showcase the joy in the artist’s lives, as well as the hardships they have endured.

Forming in 2012, The Caring Artists Group meet weekly in a local Kingston studio to paint in a supportive environment, where they develop their artistic skills and share their day-to-day experiences. Growing organically from humble beginnings, a strong supportive network has evolved. 'The Joy of Uniqueness' is a celebration of solidarity between the artists and their diverse experiences as carers.
