Overview

Kingston Arts is dedicated to the development of arts and culture within the City of Kingston and the Southern Region.
 
Kingston Arts presents an impressive calendar of performing, visual and cinematic arts events and activities across its three primary arts spaces: Kingston Arts Centre, Kingston City Hall and Shirley Burke Theatre. City of Kingston has also has strengthened its support for artists by launching two new, affordable artist-in-residence spaces.
 
In the community, Kingston Arts offers a wider calendar of events including Schmooze and Toolbox Arts Development Programs, Lens Mist Photographic Exhibition, the annual Night Art Market, and the City of Kingston's public art program.
 
Kingston Arts' performing arts programs are designed to showcase Melbourne's finest talent as well as acting as a platform for emerging artists.

Gallery spaces including G1, G2 and the new G3 Art Space promote artistic excellence and innovation with diverse and thought provoking exhibitions of both professional and emerging artists.

Located close to public transport and just 20 minutes drive from Melbourne's CBD, Kingston Arts Centre and Kingston City Hall (formerly Moorabbin Town Hall) act as the Cultural Gateway to the City of Kingston.  Find us at 979-985 Nepean Hwy, Moorabbin, 3189.  Shirley Burke Theatre in Parkers Road, PArkdale is only 10 minutes from Frankston and 30 minutes from Melbourne's CBD.

Tickets

All tickets are non-refundable. All ticket prices include GST. Evidence may be required when making your booking or when collecting tickets from Box Office.

Youth/Concessions

Pensioners, senior card holders and students all qualify for reduced ticket prices. Those aged under 27 years qualify for reduced ticket prices to some shows.

Children

Children qualify for reduced ticket prices to some shows. Our policy is that any child that has reached 18 months of age requires a ticket. Children under 18 months enter free of charge, and therefore do not require a ticket. However they will be expected to sit on an adult's lap as they will not be issued with a seat.

Bookings

Bookings can be made in person at Kingston Arts Box Office in the foyer of Kingston City Hall between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Credit card bookings can also be made by phone on 9556 4440.

The Box Office opens 60 minutes prior to show times. 

Special requirements

Kingston Arts Centre, Kingston City Hall and Shirley Burke Theatre have wheelchair accessible seats and hearing loops. Please speak to our staff about your requirements when you make your booking. The Kingston Arts Centre and Shirley Burke Theatre is please to be affiliated with the Companion Card.
