The City of Kingston invites individual artists, not for profit arts groups and organisations to make an application for an Arts Grant as part of the wider Community Grants Program for initiatives or events taking place between July 2014 and June 2015.

Applications will be accepted until Monday 7 April 2014.

CALL FOR SHORT FILMS - $1000 BEST FILM PRIZE

SUBMISSIONS CLOSE MONDAY 1 SEPTEMBER 2014

Filmmakers 20 years and under are invited to submit a 3-minute 'silent' film in this year's International Youth Silent Film Festival for the chance to win $1000 and have your film screened in the US in 2015.

Select one of seven genres including Romance, Slapstick, Action, Mystery, Horror, Sc-Fi and Hero composed for the heritage Wurlitzer Theatre Organ and produce a 3-minute film for your chance to have your film screened at our final on 25 October 2014.

With strong links to the curriculum, Kingston Arts has produced a teachers resource with supporting documents and activities that will help make their involvement in the IYSFF relevant to the classroom.
