New Blood: Creative Development Program

Applications have now closed for Kingston Arts Centre’s exciting new creative development program, New Blood.

Kingston Arts Centre has a versatile black box theatre which we would like to offer to independent performing artists for use, once per week, to facilitate the development of new Australian work. Applications for works in any stage of production are accepted, but there is a preference for works in their formative stages.

Selected projects will occur between March – November 2010

In addition to access to a rehearsal space, support may also be given in the form of:

 

• Access to some technical and administrative facilities
• Open play readings, workshops, rehearsals, performances and
• Mentoring opportunities.

Kingston Arts Centre’s Programming Team will make a decision based on the applications, from which an estimated 2 projects will be selected for the initial year of New Blood.
