Kingston City Hall and Kingston Arts Centre regularly play host to a variety of events from Concerts, Balls, Warehouse Sales, Expos, Markets, Stage Productions, School Presentations and Business Meetings.

Expos , Markets and Warehouse Sales
The Grand Hall is an ideal space for Expos, Markets and Warehouse Sales Events with expansive floor space, the provision of tables and chairs for stalls and main road exposure (Nepean Highway). The Grand Hall, Function Room, Banquet Room and Foyer can all be combined to create the perfect space for large exhibitions or used individually for sales events, all providing a positive experience for visitors and clients.

Concerts and Cabarets 
Kingston City Hall is a well organized, well equipped concert venue for up to 200 patrons in our Banquet Room or 1000 patrons in our Grand Hall.
With full-time production staff, state-of-the art audio and lighting, online ticketing, security, a large, raised stage and much more, we can help make your concert one to remember. Kingston City Hall is close to public transport and only 20 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD.
Debutante Ball / Presentation Ball 
Our Grand Hall is the perfect place to host a Debutante Ball. The raised stage and ruby red curtain provide the perfect backdrop for the introduction and presentation of Debutante’s and their partners. The Grand Hall comprises an expansive area for dancing while easily and comfortably seating up to 600 people.
Business Meetings 
If you’re planning a conference, business meeting, training workshop or staff planning day, Kingston City Hall has world class facilities and an experienced events team on hand to help you plan and execute a professional event.
Our Function Room is a warm, comfortable space perfect for corporate events from 10 to 100 people and is fully equipped with multimedia equipment. For two meetings or breakout sessions, you can divide the Function Room into two separate areas.

Performances / Presentations / Screenings 
Kingston Arts Centre houses a state-of-the-art fully equipped black box theatre with retractable seating for 94, making this unique and intimate space ideal for performances, product launches, presentations, filming, seminars or film screening events.
Theatre – 11.30m x 10.75m = 121.47m2
Training Workshops
Two spacious workshops, with a capacity to fit 60 people (seated with tables) are available at Kingston Arts Centre and are clean, bright, multi-purpose rooms with wet floor areas designed for creative endeavours. The Workshops are ideal spaces for budget conscious training sessions, with the ability to be divided into two rooms or open up as one larger room. Our Function Room is also available in Kingston City Hall for workshops requiring greater capacity.

Graduation Ceremony / School Concert 
Our Grand Hall is the ideal facility for school concerts and graduation ceremonies. The raised stage provides the perfect setting for awards to be received and with a capacity to seat 1000 people, family and friends can all come along and enjoy the ceremony. The adjoining Banquet Room offers a spacious reception for guests to mingle before or after the event.

Community Events 
We are committed to providing community organisations with affordable and convenient access to community spaces.
Not for Profit rates are applied to registered not-for-profit organisations and are available for Kingston Arts Centre spaces and Kingston City Hall Function Rooms Monday to Sundays. Kingston City Hall not for profit rates are offered on Monday to Thursday only.
Whatever the event, from Dinner Dances and Cultural Celebrations in our Grand Hall to Cocktail Parties or Presentations in our Banquet Room or Theatre, our events team will work with you to coordinate an impressive event for a modest budget – the way you want!
