Eleni Hale is a journalist and author and reciipient of three Varuna Writing awards. Her novel Stone Girl (Penguin Random House 2018) won Readings Favourite Young Adult Book 2018; Book of the Year 2018 (Kid's Book Review), was shortlisted for the 2019 NSW Premiere's Prize for Young Adults and has been selected for ADAPTation (Screen Queensland, Queensland Writer's Centre) for screen adaptation.
