Bridge Projection: Still Buffering

Still Buffering Still Y Mougos W Franklin.png

As part of Midsumma Festival, 'Still Buffering' will screen on The Bridge Projection Space every Friday evening during Pop Up until the 22nd February.

The audio soundtrack will be available to listen to throughout the Pop Up Bar evenings via QR code available on-site. The Bridge can be viewed from the Kingston City Hall footpath and by south-bound traffic on the Nepean Highway.

Still Buffering is an audio-visual project that offers insight into the current dating climate, gender norms and growing presence of the LGBTIQA+ community by looking into the past to cast a mirror into the future. The source material of the art is derived from antiquated instructional videos based on the Family Ideals and Values of the nuclear family in the USA from the early 1950's onward.
