Kingston For Human Rights is a local volunteer-run organisation with the mission to raise local public awareness around the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

Each year the committee holds a children’s poster art competition for Kingston schools and colleges to help raise awareness in the local curriculum. The artwork in this year’s exhibition responds to theme: ‘Help Clean Up the Planet, which aligns with Article 3 of the Declaration, ‘Everyone has the right to life’. The posters seek to showcase the children’s understanding of climate change and sustainability through the medium of art.

This year’s guest speaker is Tracie Armstrong, the Director of Cities Power Partnership, Australia’s largest local government climate network, which advocates for green energy initiatives within local communities.

Proudly sponsored by City of Kingston, St. Augustine's Southern Op Shop, Lions Club of Mordialloc, Dingley Rotary.
