Please join us for the opening of OptiKA, Kingston's Photographic Award 2018. The exhibition features over 50 new images responding to the theme 'Architecture, Space and Home' by photographers and video artists of all ages and experience.
The winners of the Best Photograph ($4,000), Portrait Award ($1,000), Video Award ($500), Highly Commended - Best Photograph, and Highly Commended - Portrait Awards will be announced, and you'll have the opportunity to cast your vote for the People's Choice Award ($1,000).
This remarkable overview of Kingston's intimate and epic landscapes will be launched during Kingston's Makers Festival, showcasing high-quality artisan stalls, creative workshops, roving performances, food trucks and live music.
Works from the exhibition will also be featured at the Mordialloc Food & Wine Festival and DFO Moorabbin in 2019 - stay tuned for more details!
Accessibility: Kingston Arts Centre is fully-wheelchair accessible with access to shared disabled toilets on the ground floor.
