Arite Kannavos, In reverse, digital collage, 70 x 70cm, 2018.
Screen Glow is a solo exhibition by Arite Kannavos and a digital imprint of her everyday life through the lens of technology. Using installation art, the artist invites you to navigate new and imaginary worlds in bold patterns and colours, inspired by her work as a commercial textile designer. The exhibition seeks to explore the way in which the artist integrates time, space, and memory in her practice through digital collage, painting and video animation.
Book your spot for the Screen Glow School Holiday Workshop on Thursday 11 April, 10am - 12pm with Arite Kannavos. In this workshop, children will explore colour, shape and pattern techniques through creating their own felt, crêpe paper and bric-a-brac collages.
