Basic SLR Street Photography.jpg

A beginners photography class that will teach you how to use your camera and the basics of exposure and composition.

Do you have an old SLR camera sitting around and want to learn how to use it? In this workshop we’ll teach you about photography exposure and composition plus give you some helpful tips and tricks for taking great images.

Using your new skills, you might like to submit a photograph to OptiKA – Kingston’s Photographic Award.

Note: Please bring your SLR camera to this workshop if you’d like to actively participate. If you don’t have a camera, you’re welcome to attend the class and learn through demonstration as cameras won’t be provided.
