’Tis the season to get crafting! Learn how to work with polymer clay and walk away with your own set of festive decorations and jewellery. 

Polymer clay is a fun and easy material to work with. In this workshop, you’ll learn different cutting, moulding, shaping and baking techniques. You’ll also get to pick out foils and embossing options to turn your clay creation into cheery Christmas accessories. All materials will be provided, including findings for earrings, rings, hair clips, brooches, pendants, as well as decoration hooks.  

This workshop will cover:  

  • how to work with and condition clay 
  • how to mix colours  
  • how to achieve marbling, speckles and patterns  
  • methods for combining shapes   
  • using embossing tools  
  • applying foil 
  • how to bake polymer  
  • attaching sections, jewellery fixings or accessory hooks
