Kingston Arts aims to foster a strong, highly engaged and resilient community, increase profile and support for creative industries and position the municipality of Kingston as a creative city. 

Kingston boasts a vibrant arts and cultural scene, including professional and creative development programs for artists.

Within three primary arts spaces; Kingston Arts Centre, Kingston City Hall and Shirley Burke Theatre, residents and visitors to Kingston can enjoy over 40 performing arts events and 25 visual art exhibitions each year, positioning the City of Kingston as a leading provider of visual and performing arts events in the greater southern region.

The arts and cultural program in Kingston brings together a diverse audience of community leaders, respected business professionals, creative industries and individuals living in Kingston and beyond its borders. 

Over the year, there are numerous opportunities to expose your organisation’s brand to a wide and diverse audience. More than 25,000 people from over 70 suburbs across Melbourne directly enjoy Kingston Arts programs and events each year. The Kingston Arts audience is mostly made up of females (78%), a positive statistic for businesses where women are a major market segment. 

Women are the major influencers in decision making and consumer purchases both in the home and in business. A large proportion of our overall audience are over 34 years of age, however, a considerable number of young people and families are targeted through various programs over the year.
