Grand Hall

Our Grand Hall situated on the second floor of Kingston City Hall is an ideal venue for live music concerts, dinners, presentations and productions. One of Melbourne’s most versatile event spaces, the Grand Hall comprises a raised stage and floor space that can be set for theatre style seating up to 800, general admission concerts up to 950 and dinners up to 500.

Kingston Arts provides full-service venues that require front of house, technical, box office, cleaning and security staff, rostered as per the type of event. All ticketed events must use Kingston Arts ticketing service.

Kingston City Hall and Arts Centre are fully licensed with strictly no BYO and events required to use Kingston Arts beverage service.

Kingston City Hall's Grand Hall is a well organised, well equipped concert venue for up to 1000 patrons (standing).  With full-time production staff, state-of-the art audio and lighting, online ticketing, security, a large, raised stage and much more, we can help make your concert one to remember.

DINNERS, FORMALS & BallS

Our Grand Hall is the perfect place to host dinners, school formals and dinner dances. The Grand Hall comprises an expansive area for dancing while easily and comfortably seating up to 400 people.

Graduation Ceremony, School Concerts & Award PRESENTATIONS

Our Grand Hall is the ideal facility for school concerts and graduation ceremonies.  The raised stage provides the perfect setting for awards to be received and with a capacity to seat 1000 people, family and friends can all come along and enjoy the ceremony. The adjoining Banquet Room offers a spacious reception for guests to mingle before or after the event. With full-time production staff and state-of-the art audio and lighting, we can help make your event a very special occasion.

EXPOS, MARKETS AND WAREHOUSE SALES

The Grand Hall is an ideal space for expos, markets and warehouse sales with expansive floor space, the provision of tables and chairs for stalls and main road exposure (Nepean Highway).  The Grand Hall, Function Room, Banquet Room and Foyer can all be combined to create the perfect space for large exhibitions or used individually for sales events, all providing a positive experience for visitors and clients.
