Kingston Arts Centre

Kingston Arts Centre houses a state-of-the-art fully equipped black box theatre with retractable seating for 92, making this unique and intimate space ideal for performances, presentations, filming, seminars or film screening events.

Kingston Arts provides full-service venues that require front of house, technical, box office, cleaning and security staff, rostered as per the type of event. All ticketed events must use Kingston Arts ticketing service.

Kingston City Hall and Arts Centre are fully licensed with strictly no BYO and events required to use Kingston Arts beverage service. Hirers can arrange their own catering and must provide Statement of Trade and Food Trader certificates.

Kingston Arts Centre Chamber is a staffed space that requires a Venue Supervisor for all bookings.

Panel Discussions, PRESENTATIONS AND MEETINGS

If you're hosting a panel discussion, a presentation or small private/corporate function, the theatre in Kingston Arts Centre is well equipped to cater for your requirements with a projector and screen, stage lighting and theatre style seating or round tables. The adjoining Chamber can be used as a foyer or break-out space. Kingston Arts can provide a Bar service if required.

STUDIO

The theatre is frequently used by performing arts, writing and music groups to rehearse and perform. The space boasts a baby grand piano, professional stage lighting and sound as well as retractable theatre style seating for up to 94 patrons. 

THEATRE & MUSIC PERFORMANCES

With retractable seating the theatre can accommodate a cabaret style seating arrangement for up to 90 people.  The intimacy of the space adds an exclusive feel to any event.  The adjoining Chamber can be used as a foyer or break-out space. Kingston Arts can provide a Bar service if required.
