15km from the city, we’re a contemporary cultural precinct with an engaged arts community. We support new works in performance and visual arts through grants and performance opportunities and we educate through enriching programs that foster the next generation of artists and arts workers.
Kingston CITY HALL
Kingston City Hall can accommodate a range of events across all spaces available for hire. Depending on your needs, you can choose to hire the whole complex for major events or hire individual spaces for smaller gatherings. GRAND HALL
Our Grand Hall situated on the second floor of Kingston City Hall is an ideal venue for live music concerts, dinners, presentations and productions. One of Melbourne’s most versatile event spaces, the Grand Hall comprises a raised stage and floor space that can be set for theatre style seating up to 800, and round table events up to 450.
BANQUET ROOM
The Banquet Room, situated on the second floor of the Kingston City Hall in Moorabbin adjacent to the Grand Hall is the perfect space for private parties, corporate entertainment, smaller expos and markets, cabaret and charity events accommodating up to 250 people.
MEETING ROOMS
Our meeting rooms provide a warm, comfortable space perfect for corporate events from 10 to 100 people and are fully equipped with multimedia equipment. For two meetings or breakout sessions, you can divide the conference rooms into two separate areas.
Kitchen
We offer a certified commercial kitchen for food service providers, including bakeries and food trucks, to prepare and store food. Our facility is available for catering at Kingston Arts Centre/City Hall events and can also be rented for cooking classes and workshops.
Kingston ARTS CENTRE
Kingston Arts Centre is a venue dedicated towards developing and presenting a diverse program of art and culture within the City of Kingston and the southern metropolitan region of Melbourne. The historic building has a stunning architectural style that tells the story of its history and with intimate spaces ideal for events including theatre and music performances, rehearsals, conferences, cocktail parties, business breakfasts and lunches.

Kingston Arts Centre houses a state-of-the-art fully equipped black box theatre with retractable seating for 92, making this unique and intimate space ideal for performances, presentations, filming, seminars or film screening events.
CHAMBER
With old world charm, Kingston Arts Centre's Chamber is a warm and inviting space suitable for private functions, business meetings, writing groups, text and drama rehearsals, professional and creative development workshops and much more.
SHIRLEY BURKE THEATRE
Shirley Burke Theatre is a character filled boutique theatre of 167 seats in the heart of Parkdale. Fitted with lighting and audio equipment, a bar and box office, dressing room and a generous foyer, this theatre venue is perfect for performances, presentations and film screenings.
