Public art opportunities

Mural and sculpture of butterflies at Horscroft Place

We’re keen to hear from artists who have experience in delivering public artworks, an interest in community-engaged practice, or a connection to the Kingston area. Registering your interest helps us connect with you when new commissions and public art projects arise.

Register your interest

Council’s investment and delivery of public art within the city is guided by the Public Art Policy and the Public Art Placement Plan.

Who should register?

  • artists with demonstrated experience in public art
  • creatives interested in working with local communities
  • artists with a connection to Kingston or its surrounds.

What do I need to submit?

To register, please complete our Expression of Interest form.

You’ll be asked to provide:

  • a short professional biography
  • at least one example of completed public art commissions (within the last five years) must be attached. Up to five examples are allowed.

Please note: This is not a call for a specific project. By submitting information and registering your interest, you will be added to our artist database and notified when suitable public art opportunities become available.
