Daily Stitch Diary
Next date: Monday, 09 February 2026 | 06:30 PM
to 08:00 PM
Slow stitching is a beautiful form of mindfulness, it slows you down and calms your mind. But have you ever thought of embroidery stitches as a daily practice? Your teacher, Manjari, has and she’s created a Daily Stitch Journal.
Each day Manjari stitches a small image onto her journal to represent the events of that day. But your daily stitch journal can be completely your own, and doesn’t have to follow a formula.
Dedicate as little or as much time as you like each day, and you’ll notice that it becomes time you have gifted to yourself, rather than to the project.
In this workshop you will learn some basic stitches to create and express yourself. Together we will start a journal that you can continue and add to daily.
This workshop will cover:
- an introduction to embroidery
- different stitches for different shapes and designs
- how to set up your hoop and tension
-
beginning your own Daily Stitch Journal.
All materials are provided.
Who will be teaching?
