Our Comedy at the Shirley program turned 2025 into a year of nonstop laughs. With bi-monthly stand-up nights, the Shirley’s stage hosted comedy stars like Sammy J, Celia Pacquola, Tony Martin, and Claire Hooper, drawing packed crowds and electrifying the local scene.

Most shows were sold out, bringing not just laughter. Many comedy-goers enjoyed Parkdale’s renowned eateries and bars before the show, making the most of the vibrant scene in the precinct.

Comedy lovers even traveled from across Victoria, cementing Shirley Burke Theatre in Parkdale, as a must-see local comedy destination.
