Dry felting 101: mini teacup worlds

Next date: Monday, 06 July 2026 | 06:30 PM to 08:00 PM

Brightly patterned teacup containing felted cottage landscape scene

Needle felting is the process of turning loose wool into a solid felt using a barbed needle – it’s a very easy craft that doesn’t require extensive equipment.

Using the dry needle felting technique, you’ll learn how to create basic 2D and 3D shapes, to develop into the cutest teacup pin cushions. This design is not only extremely sweet and open to personalisation, but the wool will help prevent your pins and needles from rusting.

As well as all instructions and materials, you will also be provided with tools and materials to continue needle felting at home.

This class is suitable for absolute beginners, and all equipment is supplied.

This workshop will cover:

  • the basics of needle felting
  • tools and their purposes
  • creating small 2D or 3D accessories
  • other project ideas.
