Live at City Hall: Nathan Cavaleri

Next date: Saturday, 20 June 2026 | 07:30 PM to 09:00 PM

Close up of a musician playing the guitar and singing into a microphone while sitting down.

An authentic and adventurous exploration in and beyond the blues and alternative rock realms, Nathan Cavaleri's solo show brings life stories and songs from the world stages in a powerful and electric solo format to theatre experience.

With a soundtrack of life's loves and fears, laughs and cries, Nathan's surf rock melodics and stomp swaggers brings the flavours of his past collaborations with artists such as B.B. King Bonnie Raitt and Dire Straits into a vintage modern scape mirroring the unique life he has lived which was recently featured on ABC's Australian Story and on The Imperfects podcast.

Reviews

'People need to hear from Nathan. His life's journey is heart warming and heart breaking all in the same breath. He is a gifted storyteller: engaging, vulnerable, funny and compassionate.' Hugh van Cuylenburg, The Resilience Project Founder and 'The Imperfects Podcast'.

'I had the pleasure to catch a show of Nathan's about a year ago and was really inspired by his playing and the approach he took to bringing his craft to light on stage. He's always honing his abilities and digging deeper into his sound and story telling. I have a lot of respect for that. For me those attributes are defining features of a great artist.' John Butler.
