Adriana Di Stasio is an Aspendale-based artist of Italian heritage whose practice spans painting, printmaking and crochet fibre art. Deeply inspired by the natural environment, Adriana enjoys camping and sketching outdoors, always carrying a notebook to capture the shapes, patterns, and forms she encounters in nature and everyday life.
Living near the beach and the Edithvale Wetlands is another strong influence, with the colours, textures, and rhythms of the natural landscape frequently reflected in her work. Her Italian heritage also plays an important role, inspiring recurring themes of food, wine, gathering, and connection.
