This year we paired up again with our good friends at PBS FM for Sunday Sounds, delivering free live gigs at Kingston City Hall from November 2025 to April 2026.

The crowds enjoyed free live music from bands across multiple genres, with PBS DJs spinning tracks before and after each event. The four events were a hit for all ages, with song and dance for music lovers big and small, face-painting for everyone and craft activities for our smaller patrons.

Who we hosted:

Kylie Auldist
Kicking off the season in November, Kylie Auldist graced the stage with her band for a soul-filled afternoon, supported by DJ Lyndelle Wilkinson.

Sweethearts Band
In February, Sweethearts band had us dancing to the music with their setlist of dancefloor classics, alongside DJ Lady Soul.

Ausecuma Beats
With March came Ausecuma Beats, who delivered a fantastic blend of percussion and jazz that got the crowd moving, even up on stage! They were supported by DJ Suzi Hutchings.

Checkerboard Lounge
To close out the season in April, Checkerboard Lounge brought their blues, roots and soul originals to City Hall, supported by Melbourne-based roots rocker Joshua Batten and DJ Helen Jennings OAM.

Each event was a blast and we can't wait to bring it back again!

What our visitors said:

"A wonderful event."

"It was great, my partner and I enjoyed the outing."

Sunday Sounds will return in November. In the meantime, check out other music events throughout the year!
