Explore a virtual reality artwork inspired by sounds of Kingston and try your hand at making your own.
Exhibiting artist Susannah Langley will lead this workshop, guiding you through her current exhibiting artworks and will demonstrate how to create your own in a virtual landscape.
You are encouraged to bring a recording or memory of your favourite sound found within Kingston to inspire a drawing in VR.

Who will be teaching?
Susannah Langley is a visual artist whose practice encompasses experimental drawing, installation, and sound using unconventional media such as conductive material, found objects, field recording and virtual reality to explore ideas of lived spaces.
Since 2013, she has collaborated on works that people can move through, listen to and touch, to summon stories and soundscapes.
These works have included virtual reality experiences and installations that have been featured in exhibitions, festivals, and prizes, nationally and internationally.
Langley also delivers creative tech-based workshops for young people in schools. She has a Master of Fine Arts from The University of Melbourne.
