Beading 101
Next date: Monday, 15 June 2026 | 06:30 PM
to 08:00 PM
Fashions come and go, but beading always seems to be present in one form or another. Beads can be stitched into clothing, soft furnishings, key rings, decorations, bags, and of course jewellery.
This class introduces you the fundamentals of beading, giving you the skills and knowledge to make your own unique piece of jewellery – a choker necklace or a bracelet. Choose beads in a variety of colours and finishes, either solid, translucent, shiny, or opalescent.
All materials provided and no experience necessary.
This workshop will cover:
- basic beading techniques, step by step and very easy to follow
- materials and tools to use
- tips for speed and uniformity
- how to create your own design
- get started on your own choker necklace or bracelet.
