Experience the creativity and artistry of Australia's next generation of classical musicians in two intimate concerts presented by the Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance, Monash University.

The two Next Note concerts will feature solo and ensemble repertoire by composers including Mozart, Mendelssohn, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Clara Schumann and Miriam Hyde. Audiences can expect exciting string, wind and horn ensembles, and outstanding soloists.

The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance

The Sir Zelman Cowen School of Music and Performance at Monash University is a vibrant community of performers, composers and creative practitioners.

Next Note will feature undergraduate students from across the School's Classical Performance program, including students specialising in piano, strings, woodwind and brass.

Students develop their artistry through individual study, chamber music and a dynamic ensemble program, with opportunities to perform concertos with the Monash Academy Orchestra, play a variety of chamber music and ensemble repertoire, develop their own projects, and participate in imaginative interdisciplinary collaborations.
