Shakespeare’s classic reimagined through the lens of the 1980s, a decade defined by bold fashion, vibrant music, and cultural transformation. This dynamic era highlights the play’s themes of self-expression, rebellion, and the search for authenticity.

Set in the mythical land of Illyria, Twelfth Night follows the story of Viola, who is shipwrecked and separated from her twin brother. Disguising herself as a young man named Cesario, she enters the service of Duke Orsino who is in love with the mourning Countess Olivia. As Viola becomes entangled in a web of mistaken identities and unspoken affections, the play unfolds with humour, heartache, and ultimately, joyful resolution.

Shakespeare’s language meets the energy of synth-pop, neon lights, and the spirit of a generation that dared to be different.
