Kingston boasts a vibrant arts and cultural scene, including professional and creative development programs for artists, competitions including the Lens Mist Photographic Award & Exhibition, an annual Makers Market, open studios and a vibrant program of public art.
Within three primary arts spaces; Kingston Arts Centre, Kingston City Hall and Shirley Burke Theatre, residents and visitors to Kingston can enjoy over 40 performing arts events and 25 visual art exhibitions each year, positioning the City of Kingston as a leading provider of visual and performing arts events in the greater southern region.
